Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Visit Turku Castle and Old Rauma for their historical value. Visiting Kurjenrahka National Park and Ispoinen Beach and Sauna will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Turku: Rauma (The Church of the Holy Cross & Rauma Water Tower). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, see the interesting displays at Luostarinmaki Handicrafts Museum, delve into the distant past at Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, and trek along The Archipelago Trail.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Fortress of Suomenlinna and National Museum of Finland. Step out of the city life by going to Aurinkolahti Beach and Korkeasaari Zoo. Venture out of the city with trips to Kokonniemi (in Porvoo) and Espoo (Nuuksio National Park & Serena Water Park). Pack the 27th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park.
