Vantaa

— 5 nights
Though technically its own city, Vantaa is considered by many to be a Helsinki suburb, and it is where most visitors land when they fly to Finland.
Explore Vantaa's surroundings by going to Suomen Lasimuseo (The Finnish Glass Museum) (in Riihimaki), Ahvenisto (in Hameenlinna) and Espoo (Kaitalampi & Nuuksio National Park). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Vapriikin Museokeskus, take an in-depth tour of Finnish Aviation Museum, admire the landmark architecture of Pyhan Laurin kirkko, and don't miss a visit to Porvoo Old Town.
