Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Step out of Turku to go to Rauma and see Old Rauma, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. The adventure continues: get engrossed in the history at Turku Castle, wander the streets of Naantali Old Town, have some family-friendly fun at Moomin World, and learn about all things military at Forum Marinum Maritime Centre.

Take a break from Helsinki with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo, about 48 minutes away.
