Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Get a sense of the local culture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Helsinki Cathedral. Take a break from the city and head to Nuuksio National Park and Hietaranta Beach. There's still lots to do: admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, see the interesting displays at Vantaa Art Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamppi Chapel of Silence, and relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers.

Turku

On the 31st (Fri), contemplate the long history of Turku Cathedral, then take an in-depth tour of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, then step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Archangel Michael's church.
