Start off your visit on the 31st (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, then delve into the distant past at Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, then explore the historical opulence of Turku Castle, and finally make a trip to Archangel Michael's church. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 7th (Fri), get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, look for gifts at LAURI, then see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church.
