Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Step off the beaten path and head to Safartica Yllas and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage. Spend the 4th (Sat) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. It doesn't end there: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi and stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

Bilbao, Spain to Levi is an approximately 10-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Bilbao to Levi. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Tue): get to know the resident critters at Ranua Zoo and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church. On your second day here, tour the pleasant surroundings at Napapiirin Porofarmi, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village.

Drive from Levi to Rovaniemi in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In December, daily temperatures in Rovaniemi can reach -6°C, while at night they dip to -13°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can go by car to Inari.

You can do a combination of flight and train from Inari to Tampere in 5.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from Inari in December, expect Tampere to be somewhat warmer, temps between 0°C and -6°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can drive to Turku.

On the 13th (Mon), get engrossed in the history at Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Turku Cathedral. Here are some ideas for day two: make a trip to Naantali Old Town, trek along Bike Rental - by Carfield, then explore the historical opulence of Turku Castle, and finally learn about all things military at Forum Marinum Maritime Centre.
