Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Take a break from Helsinki with a short trip to Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto in Vantaa, about 30 minutes away. There's much more to do: deepen your knowledge of military history at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, browse the exhibits of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, and hunt for treasures at Market Square Kauppatori.

Krakow, Poland to Helsinki is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train, bus, and ferry.
