Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Hatanpaa Arboretum and Vapriikin Museokeskus. Your inner history buff will appreciate Jokioinen Museum Railway and Tampere Cathedral. Venture out of the city with trips to Birthplace of Jean Sibelius (in Haemeenlinna) and Parola Tank Museum (in Parola).
