Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.Family-friendly places like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali) will thrill your kids. Step out of Helsinki to go to Espoo and see Nuuksio National Park, which is approximately 48 minutes away. Pack the 25th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, don't miss a visit to Senate Square, and take a memorable drive along King's Road.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.Kids will appreciate attractions like Sarkanniemi Theme Park and Ahvenisto. When in Tampere, make a side trip to see The Parola Armour Museum in Parola, approximately Parola away. When in Levi, make a side trip to see Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park in Muonio, approximately Muonio away. Official Hometown of Santa Claus
An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.Attractions like Santa Claus Village and Arktikum make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: take an exotic tour of a safari tour, get curious at Pilke Science Centre, have some family-friendly fun at Snowman World Igloo Hotel, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church.
