Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Step off the beaten path and head to Bellevue Beach and Room Escape Games. There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, explore the galleries of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral.

On the 21st (Sat), make a trip to Santa Claus Village and then get interesting insight from Feelapland. On the 22nd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see Santa Claus Office, explore the fascinating underground world of Syvasenvaara Fell, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, then make a trip to Lordi's Square, and finally stop by Your Piece Of Finland.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Levi Ski Resort and Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. There's much more to do: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, experience rural life at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm, and don't miss a visit to Giewont Husky Adventures.

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
On the 26th (Thu), gear up at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort. On the next day, get in on the family fun at Angry Birds Activity Park and then look for gifts at Hippupuoti Gift Shop.

Inari ©
Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Kick off your visit on the 28th (Sat): relax in the rural setting at Inari Reindeer Farm, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, and then see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. Keep things going the next day: go for a walk through Otsamo Fell.

You can drive from Saariselka to Inari in an hour. Another option is to take a bus. Expect a daytime high around -7°C in December, and nighttime lows around -17°C. On the 29th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Helsinki.
