Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Attractions like Linnanmaki Amusement Park and Hietaranta Beach make great kid-friendly stops. Discover out-of-the-way places like Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Next up on the itinerary: brush up on your military savvy at Fortress of Suomenlinna, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Rock Church, glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and wander the streets of Ullanlinna.

Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 28th (Thu), take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of St. Nicholas, hike along Malonsaari, then explore the activities along Saimaa Canal, and finally make a trip to Lappeen Marian kirkko. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the dramatic scenery at Imatra Waterfall, then head off the coast to Lammassaari Island, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Lempukka Beach.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Teijo national park and Turku Cathedral. Turku Castle and Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova are good opportunities to explore the local culture.
