Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Step off the beaten path and head to Bellevue Beach and Teijo national park. Step out of the city life by going to Nuuksio National Park and Arboretum Mustila. Step out of Helsinki to go to Kouvola and see Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area, which is approximately 2 hours away. There's still lots to do: learn about all things military at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, take an in-depth tour of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Rock Church.

Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Siida and Lemmenjoki National Park. Go for a jaunt from Inari to Saariselka to see Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort about 1h 05 min away.

Step out of the city life by going to Levi Ski Resort and Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Safaris and Kid's Land. Step out of Levi to go to Kittila and see Snow Village, which is approximately 46 minutes away. The adventure continues: explore and take pictures at Ice Karting Levi, experience rural life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, and don't miss a visit to Giewont Husky Adventures.
