Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You've now added Fiskars Village to your itinerary. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Johannes Church. Get some cultural insight at Mannerheim Museum and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Helsinki side-trips: Hameenlinna (Birthplace of Jean Sibelius, Palander House, &more), Forssa Museum (in Forssa) and Tammelan kirkko (in Tammela).
