Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Levi: Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila) and Muonio (Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park, Keimiotunturi Fell, &more). You'll find plenty of places to visit near Inari: Gold Prospector Museum (in Tankavaara) and Saariselka (Urho Kekkonen National Park & Nature & Wildlife Tours). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get out of town with these interesting Rovaniemi side-trips: Ranua Zoo (in Ranua), Tornio Church (in Tornio) and Kemi Church (in Kemi). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, see Santa Claus Office, and let little ones run wild at Angry Birds Park.
