Jyvaskyla

Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kuokkalan kartano and Maki-Matin perhepuisto. Finnish Air Force Museum and The Alvar Aalto Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Venture out of the city with trips to Korpilahti (Oravivuori Triangulation Tower & Hoyry Galleria), Keuruu (Church of Keuruu & Old Church of Keuruu) and Karstula (Kirkkovuori Nature Observation Tower & Car Museum Wanhat Wehkeet). Spend the 18th (Fri) exploring nature at Pyha-Hakki National Park. Spend the 20th (Sun) exploring nature at Leivonmaki National Park. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Jyvaskyla Art Museum, trek along Nyrolan luontopolku, get engrossed in the history at Keski-Suomen museo (Museum of Central Finland), and snap pictures at Karkisten Silta.
