Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Kick off your visit on the 4th (Fri): tour or see a show at The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos, examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church. On the next day, trek along Juutua Nature Trail, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 6th (Sun), take an exotic tour of a safari tour, then look for gifts at Kauppakeskus Sampokeskus, then pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, and finally take an in-depth tour of Arktikum.
