Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Riihiniemen Uimaranta, then enjoy the sand and surf at Rauhaniemi Beach, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Tampereen Tuomiokirkko. On the next day, take in panoramic vistas at Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower, then identify plant and animal life at Hatanpaa Arboretum, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Alexander Nevsky and St. Nicholas, and finally indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

Though technically its own city, Vantaa is considered by many to be a Helsinki suburb, and it is where most visitors land when they fly to Finland.
