Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Riihiniemen Uimaranta, then enjoy the sand and surf at Rauhaniemi Beach, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Tampereen Tuomiokirkko. Though technically its own city, Vantaa is considered by many to be a Helsinki suburb, and it is where most visitors land when they fly to Finland.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry and Church of Hollola. Get in touch with nature at Nuuksio National Park and Mielakka Ski Center. Venture out of the city with trips to Kuhakoski Waterfall (in Nurmijarvi), Porvoo (Castle Hill, Cathedral of Porvoo, &more) and St Michael Church (in Pernaja). The adventure continues: wander the streets of Linden Esplanade, appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, hit the slopes at Messila Ski Centre, and engage your brain at Heureka.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
On the 3rd (Tue), learn about all things military at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, stop by Katajanokka, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, then admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali). Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 4th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamppi Chapel of Silence, admire the striking features of Helsinki Central Railway Station, then glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and finally take a memorable drive along King's Road.
