Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Kids will enjoy Arboretum Mustila and Riverside Park. Visit Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry and St. Nicholas Church for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Kotka side-trips: Salpa Line Museum (in Miehikkala), Hiidenvuori (in Iitti) and Virolahti (Bunker Museum & Salpa Line Hiking Trail). There's still lots to do: trek along Santalahti Nature Trail, take in the pleasant sights at Linden Esplanade, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Marian kirkko.
