Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Venture out of the city with trips to Pyha-Luosto National Park (in Pyhatunturi) and Ranua Zoo (in Ranua). And it doesn't end there: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, see Santa Claus Office, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, and Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell.

Nestled among vast forests and fells, Luosto represents a small idyllic resort village set on the edge of Pyha-Luosto National Park.
On the 15th (Wed), get out on two wheels at Luosto Adventures, then go deep underground at Amethyst Mine Lapland, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Luosto, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Kopara Reindeer Park. Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country.
