Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Take a break from the city and head to Teijo national park and Ispoinen Beach and Sauna. Let the collections at Turku Castle and Ett Hem Museum capture your imagination. Go for a jaunt from Turku to Poytya to see Kurjenrahka National Park about 58 minutes away. There's still lots to do: step off the mainland to explore Vepsa Island, examine the collection at Luostarinmaki Handicrafts Museum, steep yourself in history at Turku Cathedral, and view the masterpieces at Photographic Centre Peri.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Explore hidden gems such as Levi Ski Resort and Keimiotunturi Fell. Get in touch with nature at Torassieppi Reindeer Farm & Cottages and Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. Change things up with a short trip to Akaslompolo Sportshop in Akaslompolo (about 58 minutes away). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Giewont Husky Adventures.

Getting from Kimito Island to Levi by combination of bus and flight takes about 6 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus, train, and flight; or drive. Traveling from Kimito Island in March, expect Levi to be a bit cooler, temps between 31°F and 16°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Tue) early enough to travel to Inari.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Let the collections at Siida and Gold Prospector Museum capture your imagination. Step out of the city life by going to Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus and Lemmenjoki National Park. When in Inari, make a side trip to see Hippupuoti Gift Shop in Saariselka, approximately 1h 05 min away.

You can do a combination of bus, flight, and shuttle from Levi to Inari in 2.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 29°F in March, and nighttime lows around 13°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Kuusamo.

Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Museum-lovers will appreciate Fortress of Suomenlinna and Kansallisgalleria.
