Oulu

Oulu is a city and municipality of inhabitants in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Get some historical perspective at Kauppahalli and Haukipudas Church. Escape the urban bustle at Nallikari Beach and Koitelinkoski. Change things up with a short trip to Raahe Museum in Raahe (about 1h 5 min away). There's lots more to do: walk around Hupisaaret Park, admire the landmark architecture of Oulu Cathedral, take in the exciting artwork at Pohjoisen Valokuvakeskus, and examine the collection at Pohjois-Pohjanmaan museo.

Step off the beaten path and head to Ahtari Zoo and Marttinen.
