Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Naantali Old Town and Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turku: Lenholm Conservation Area (in Parainen) and Rauma (Old Rauma & Rauma Water Tower).
