Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Take a break from Rovaniemi with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua, about 1 hour away. And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, enjoy some diversion at Santa Claus Office, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, and Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. When in Inari, make a side trip to see Urho Kekkonen National Park in Saariselka, approximately Saariselka away. The adventure continues: head outdoors with Lake Inari, examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, and look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas.
