Get some cultural insight at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Temppeliaukio Church. Step out of the city life by going to Nuuksio National Park and Hietaranta Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Helsinki: Valkmusa National Park (in Siltakyla), Riihimaki Art Museum (in Riihimaki) and Hyvinkaa (Valvilla Factory Museum & Hyvinkään kaupunginmuseo). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
