Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Change things up with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo (about 48 minutes away). There's lots more to do: expand your understanding of the military at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, don't miss a visit to Senate Square, and admire the landmark architecture of Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Lieksa is a town and municipality of Finland.It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the North Karelia region. Venture out of the city with trips to Koli (Koli Shop Retkitupa & Koli Nature Centre Ukko) and Joensuu (Lykynlampi Outdoor Centre, Joensuu Church, &more). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Explore Rovaniemi's surroundings by going to Pyhatunturi (in Pelkosenniemi) and Amethyst Mine Lapland (in Luosto).
