Kotka

Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Venture out of the city with trips to Bunker Museum (in Virolahti), Kouvola (Kouvola Tube Radio Museum, Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area, &more) and Salpa Line Museum (in Miehikkala). On the shores of the country's largest lake system, Lappeenrata serves as the economic and cultural center of southeast Finland.
Explore Lappeenranta's surroundings by going to Mikkeli (Naisvuori Observation Tower, Communications Centre Lokki, &more), Imatra (Church of St. Nicholas & Tainionkosken Church) and Kummakivi Boulder (in Ruokolahti).
