Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Helsinki is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of ferry and car. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Eastern European Standard Time (EET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Inari: Saariselka (Urho Kekkonen National Park & Ruijanpolku Trail). Oulu

Oulu is a city and municipality of inhabitants in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Take a break from Oulu with a short trip to Raahe Museum in Raahe, about 1h 5 min away. There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, see the interesting displays at Oulun Automuseo, engage your brain at Tietomaa, and grab your bike and head to Outdoors Oulu Oy.

Vaasa

Vaasa is a city on the west coast of Finland. Change things up with these side-trips from Vaasa: Iisakki Jarvenpaa - Tehtaanmyymala (in Kauhava), Saltkaret (in Mustasaari) and Seinajoki Library (in Seinajoki). Spend the 4th (Sat) among the memorable landscape of Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site.
