Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Escape the urban bustle at Beach Mansikkalahti and Santalahti Nature Trail. Step out of Kotka to go to Kouvola and see Repovesi National Park, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. Spend the 12th (Thu) exploring nature at Valkmusa National Park. And it doesn't end there: step off the mainland to explore Haapasaari Island, take in nature's colorful creations at Fuksinpuisto Park, and admire the striking features of Sunila Residential Area by Alvar Aalto.

On the 15th (Sun), admire the sheer force of Imatra Waterfall, head off the coast to Lammassaari Island, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ruokolahden Kirkko.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Get outdoors at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna and Kurjenrahka National Park. Step out of Turku to go to Pargas and see ArtBank, which is approximately 34 minutes away.
