Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Get in touch with nature at Aurinkolahti Beach and Haagan Alppiruusupuisto. Shop till you drop at Old Market Hall and Marimekko Forum. There's lots more to do: expand your understanding of the military at Fortress of Suomenlinna, look for gifts at Artisaani, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, and browse the different shops at Kamppi Center.

Trat, Thailand to Helsinki is an approximately 23.5-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Indochina Time to Eastern European Time is minus 5 hours. Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Visiting Repovesi National Park and Beach Mansikkalahti will get you outdoors. Take a break from Kotka with a short trip to Valkmusa National Park in Siltakyla, about 30 minutes away. There's lots more to do: hike along Santalahti Nature Trail, admire the striking features of Sunila Residential Area by Alvar Aalto, take in nature's colorful creations at Fuksinpuisto Park, and step off the mainland to explore Haapasaari Island.

Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 15th (Sun), take in the dramatic scenery at Imatra Waterfall, trek along Lammassaari Island, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ruokolahden Kirkko.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Visiting Safaris and Auttikongas will get you outdoors. Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1h 20 min away. There's still lots to do: get in on the family fun at Santa Claus Village, take in the views from Lumberjack's Candle Bridge, make a trip to Santa Claus Office, and head outdoors with Arctic Lifestyle.
