Heinola is a town and a municipality of inhabitants located in the region of Päijänne Tavastia, Finland. Take a break from the city and head to Leivonmaki National Park and Vaaksy Canal. Visit Church of Hollola and Savitaipale Church for their historical value. Venture out of the city with trips to Asikkala (Pulkkilanharju Nature Trail, The Recreational Fishing Museum of Finland, & more), Art Center Haihatus (in Joutsa) and Kangasniemi (Kangasniemi Church & Pirtin perinnepuisto). Spend the 30th (Mon) exploring nature at Päijänteen kansallispuisto. On the 4th (Fri), ski the day away in the pristine settings at Sappee Ski Resort. There's lots more to do: admire the masterpieces at Serlachius Museum Gustaf, trek along Kammiovuori Trail, tour the pleasant surroundings at Paijanne-Ilves Trail, and get into the urban bustle at Art Centre Salmela.

Espoo is the second largest city and municipality in Finland. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Bellevue Beach and Aurlahti Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Nuuksio National Park and Teijo National Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Raseborg (Raseborg Castle, Hagen - Ramsholmen - Hogholmen, & more), Inkoo (Inkoon kirkko & Fagervik Museum) and Lohjan Pyhan Laurin Kirkko the Church of St Lawrence Lohja (in Lohja). Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 15th (Tue) at Serena Water Park. There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Hvittrask, steep yourself in history at Ruukin kehräämö ja puoti Oy, play a few rounds at Hirsala Golf, and explore the ancient world of Laurinmaki nature and culture area, Crofter's Museum.
