An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ylitornio and see Tatuka Reindeerfarm, which is approximately 38 minutes away. There's much more to do: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, wander the wide-open spaces of Orbas Reindeer Farm, and look for all kinds of wild species at Napapiirin Porofarmi.
