Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Step out of the city life by going to Bellevue Beach and Nuuksio National Park. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Helsinki Cathedral. Step out of Helsinki to go to Kirkkonummi and see Hirsala Golf, which is approximately 38 minutes away. Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Get some cultural insight at Siida and Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church. Take a break from the city and head to Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and Lemmenjoki National Park.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

Pihamaa Estate & Winery and Vapriikin Museokeskus are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get in touch with nature at Riihiniemen Uimaranta and Rauhaniemi Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Ahtari Zoo (in Ahtari) and Yyteri Beach (in Pori). There's lots more to do: soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Alexander Nevsky and St. Nicholas, and contemplate the long history of Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Get in touch with nature at Vepsa Island and Teijo national park. Naantali Old Town and Turku Castle are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Turku to go to Salo and see Mathildedalin Kylapanimo, which is approximately 1h 10 min away. The adventure continues: work off some steam at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, admire the masterpieces at Ett Hem Museum, let the kids burn off some steam at Adventure Park, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Turku Cathedral.

Venture out of the city with trips to Arboretum Mustila (in Elimaki), Stromforsin ruukki (in Ruotsinpyhtaa) and Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area (in Kouvola).
