Kotka

Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Get in touch with nature at Repovesi National Park and Arboretum Mustila. Bring the kids along to Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area and Linden Esplanade. Change things up with a short trip to Hiidenvuori in Iitti (about 1h 15 min away). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of the city life by going to Pyha-Luosto National Park and Auttikongas. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Syvasenvaara Fell and Santa Claus Village. Change things up with a short trip to Korouoma Canyon in Posio (about 1h 40 min away).
