You'll discover tucked-away gems like Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and Gold Prospector Museum. Go for a jaunt from Inari to Saariselka to see Shamaan Design - Lappi Shop about 56 minutes away. There's much more to do: examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, tour or see a show at The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos, and pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy and Santa's House of Snowmobiles. When in Rovaniemi, make a side trip to see Tatuka Reindeerfarm in Ylitornio, approximately Ylitornio away. Next up on the itinerary: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, enjoy some diversion at Santa Claus Office, browse the collection at Rovaniemi City Library, and get engrossed in the history at Rovaniemi Local History Museum.
