Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Step off the beaten path and head to Beach Mansikkalahti and Arboretum Mustila. Get out of town with these interesting Kotka side-trips: Hiidenvuori (in Iitti) and Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area (in Kouvola). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Linden Esplanade, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry, admire the landmark architecture of Saint Peter and Saint Paul Cathedral, and get engrossed in the history at Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge Museum.
