Step off the beaten path and head to Beach Mansikkalahti and Arboretum Mustila. Get out of town with these interesting Kotka side-trips: Hiidenvuori (in Iitti) and Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area (in Kouvola). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Linden Esplanade, stroll around Riverside Park, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry, and get engrossed in the history at Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge Museum.
