An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get outdoors at Safaris and Arctic Emotions Oy. Kids will enjoy SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus and Snowman World Igloo Hotel. Explore Rovaniemi's surroundings by going to Korouoma Canyon (in Posio) and Pello (Maupertuis Memorial & Eeron Polku Trail). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre, fly down the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy, and see Santa Claus Office.
