An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Go for a jaunt from Rovaniemi to Kemi to see Kemin Jalokivigalleria (Kemi Gemstone Gallery) about 1h 35 min away. The adventure continues: find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, get curious at Pilke Science Centre, and make a trip to Lordi's Square.
