Nestled among vast forests and fells, Luosto represents a small idyllic resort village set on the edge of Pyha-Luosto National Park.
Step out of Luosto to go to Sodankyla and see Church of Sodankyla, which is approximately 32 minutes away. There's much more to do: go deep underground at Amethyst Mine Lapland, do some two-wheel cruising with Luosto Adventures, stroll through Kopara Reindeer Park, and take in the awesome beauty at Luosto.

Constanta, Romania to Luosto is an approximately 16.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Traveling from Constanta in November, things will get cooler in Luosto: highs are around -3°C and lows about -9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Inari.

Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Get out of town with these interesting Inari side-trips: Saariselka (Nature & Wildlife Tours, Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort, &more) and Gold Prospector Museum (in Tankavaara). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm, take in the pleasant sights at Otsamo Fell, and wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Levi: Safartica Yllas (in Yllasjarvi), Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park (in Muonio) and Sarestoniemi Museum (in Kaukonen). Spend the 9th (Thu) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.
