An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Fri): wander the wide-open spaces of Napapiirin Porofarmi, stroll through Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy, then pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemen ortodoksinen kirkko, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church.
