Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Thu): pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, then don't miss a visit to Senate Square, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali). On the 14th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temppeliaukio Church, browse the exhibits of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, then explore the galleries of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, and finally make a trip to The Esplanadi Park.
