Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.Do some cultural sightseeing at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and National Museum of Finland. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kansallisgalleria and Porvoo Old Town. Step out of Helsinki to go to Porvoo and see Cathedral of Porvoo, which is approximately 48 minutes away. Pack the 25th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, examine the collection at Design Museum, learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo), and appreciate the history behind Sibelius Monument.
