Vilnius, Lithuania to Rovaniemi is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Vilnius in August, things will get a bit cooler in Rovaniemi: highs are around 20°C and lows about 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Tue) to allow time to fly to Helsinki.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali). Get some cultural insight at Temppeliaukio Church and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Go for a jaunt from Helsinki to Vantaa to see Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto about 30 minutes away.
