Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Change things up with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua (about 1 hour away). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, engage your brain at Science Centre Pilke, have fun at Santa Claus Office, and take an in-depth tour of Arktikum.

Kick off your visit on the 29th (Wed): grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort.
