Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Wed): don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally make a trip to Santa Claus Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 24th (Thu): take an exotic tour of Ranua Zoo, then examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, and then engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre.

Lappeenranta to Rovaniemi is an approximately 5.5-hour combination of train and flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 25th (Fri), grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, and then hit the slopes at Kids' Land.
