Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Wed): look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square. Here are some ideas for day two: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, then see Santa Claus Office, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church.
