Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Thu): engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Ranua Zoo, and then find something for the whole family at Moomin Snowcastle. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, enjoy some diversion at Santa Claus Office, look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square.
