Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): get to know the resident critters at Ranua Zoo and then make a trip to Lordi's Square. Keep things going the next day: take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, see the interesting displays at Christmas House Santa, then enjoy some diversion at Santa Claus Office, and finally make a trip to Santa Claus Village.
