An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Mon): learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Ranua Zoo and then make a trip to Lordi's Square. On your second day here, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, see the interesting displays at Christmas House Santa, then have fun at Santa Claus Office, and finally don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.
