An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Mon): don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, and then don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square. Here are some ideas for day two: see Santa Claus Office, see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and finally look for gifts at Your Piece Of Finland.
