Kouvola

Joensuu

Joensuu is a city and municipality in North Karelia in the province of Eastern Finland. Old Mine Mining Museum and Koli Nature Centre Ukko will appeal to museum buffs. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Visiting Pyha-Luosto National Park and Auttikongas will get you outdoors. Visit Church of Sodankyla and German Soldier s Cemetery for their historical value. You can do a combination of flight and train from Inari to Tampere in 5.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from Inari in June: highs in Tampere hover around 20°C, while lows dip to 9°C.
