An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get in touch with nature at Safaris and Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy. Visit Rovaniemi Church and Rovaniemen ortodoksinen kirkko for their historical value. When in Rovaniemi, make a side trip to see Eeron Polku Trail in Pello, approximately Pello away.
